HOLY GHOST was formed by Gary Griffith and Leon Thompson during 1989 in London around an idea of producing a special dance record. It would have to capture and embody the feel of the big parties happening in the meccas of Ibiza and Goa. The result was ?The Word?-single as well as a committment to pursue possibilities further. Working from a variety of small but atmospheric studios has since produced a highly sought-after collection of very personal, eclectic and self-financed records. It has always been the Holy Ghost intention to find the more diverse and obscure angels, hopefully producing that elusive balance of excitement and intrigue. Longtime purveyors of boundless musical dance experiment whether hectic breakbeat, apocalyptic trance or manic hardcore, Holy Ghost have since established a name well known and respected in the underground for holding little regard for watery musical trends of the day.
