The latest release on the excellent Superstition label is this new cut from old skool techno veteran Mark NRG. His original mix is a hard, funky and warped techno outing which is well worth checking. As you would expect the production on the track is as sharp as nails and the kick sounds devastating over a big soundsystem. On the flip, the ever popular Trancesetters deliver a progressive house workout. They've taken the pace up a notch or two and toned down the kick a little, but have still managed to keep the main elements which make the original stand out. The result is a funky and dark techno, prog-house hybrid, if there is such a thing. The soundscape of the track is huge, incorporating layers of finely tuned sounds and effects and its definitely the mix for those of you who like it hard and driving.
